This is the hour for drinking

Locate true North and lay your sundial on a flat surface, the S pointing South and the N to the North.

Push the gnomon form the card back so it stands vertical, at 90* angle to the dial.

Wait for some sun. The shadow cast will mark the time.

For greater accuracy, trim the gnomon along the line of latitude corresponding to your location.
The angle of the gnomon = locations latitude
